Our story
About Balboa Car Care Center
We're a family-style auto shop in Van Nuys where the diagnosis comes before the sales pitch. Customers come to us specifically because dealership service departments kept trying to upsell them, and we don't operate that way.
Whether it's a flat tire on your way out of town or a radiator that needs replacing the same day, our mechanics, led by Ben, get it fixed fast and explain what's actually wrong with your car. Jasmine keeps the office running just as smoothly.
Most of our customers find us through a referral from someone we've already helped. We'd rather earn your business with a fair price and straight answers than a flashy waiting room.
- No upselling, ever
- Same-day repairs when possible
- Family referred customers
- Straightforward, honest pricing
